Our College is approved by Government of Chhattisgarh recognized under section 2(f)of the UGC Act, 1956 and the college is affiliated to the Shaheed Mahendra Karma Vishwavidyalaya (Bastar University), Jagdalpur Dist.- Bastar(Chhattisgarh).

The College has various committees as Staff Council, Student Union Committee, Cultural Activities Committee, Grievance Redressal Committee, Complaint Resolution Committee, Sexual Harassment Committee, SC/ST Cell, OBC Committee, Minority Cell, Anti-raging and Discipline Committee, Sports Committee, RTI and Information Cell, Employment and Career Guidance Committee, Purchase and Writing-off Committee, Library Committee, Red Cross Committee, Scholarship Committee, Development Committee, Store and Physical Verification Committee, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Website Committee, Internal Examination Committee, Pay Fixation and Income Tax Committee, Guest Lecturer Selection Committee.

The College runs as per the rules and regulations implemented by the Shaheed Mahendra Karma Vishwavidyalaya (Bastar University), Jagdalpur Dist.- Bastar(Chhattisgarh), Department of Higher Education, Government of Chhattisgarh, University Grants Commission (UGC), Central Government, etc., from time to time.

The application under the RTI Act along with a Postal Order/Demand Draft for Rs10/- obtained in favour of The Principal, Govt Mahendra Karma Girls College, Dantewada. This application may be sent to the Principal/Public Information Officer or handed over in his office. All information about the college under Section 4(1)(b) of RTI Act 2005 are opened for the public and it can be obtained by a citizen of India.
