The library has a rich collection of books on Political Science, Sociology, Geography, Hindi Literature, Hindi Language, English Language, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, and Commerce. Besides, Library also has a good collection of Hindi books like Storybooks, Poem books, Motivational books, Novels, and Biographies.

Besides the above Collection, the Library has segregated specialized collections mentioned below:

Book Bank (BB): the library has a book bank collection of syllabus-based textbooks for students belonging to economically and socially weaker sections(SC, ST, and BPL) of society. Students can borrow books from this collection up to examination.

Competitive Exam Book (CB): the library has a rich collection of books for competitive exams like civil services (UPSC, CGPSC), SSC, banking, Vyapam, etc.   

Chhattisgarhi Collection (CGC): the library has a special collection of books which are belonging to the Chhattisgarhi language, literature, history, and Geography.

The library subscribes to 20 print journals and magazines. The library is also subscribing to N-LIST e-resources consortia which covers all the disciplines viz Pure Science, Social Science, and Humanities including Linguistic and Languages.
